Great North American Summer Photography Locations

Summer is in full swing and for most people the heat in North America is unbearable this season. This shouldn’t stop you from getting out and traveling though. There are some wonderful places in the United States worth visiting and when you do be sure you bring along your camera.

Florida Keys – This may be the biggest summer spot in the United States but always well worth it. Breathtaking scenery and gorgeous sunsets, surely to have some great photos from this location.

Washington, D.C. – If you haven’t been to the nation’s capital then I advise to go. There is many places to visit which make for great photo opportunities. From the capital building to The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and don’t forget about the wonderful museums as well.

San Antonio, TX – Home of the Alamo and the infamous river walk. This is great place for a weekend getaway. This is a very historic city in the state of Texas and provides great photo opportunities at the Alamo. The San Antonio River Walk is a great place for restaurants, hotels and many attractions.

Imperial Beach, CA – Just south of San Diego and very close to the international border of Mexico I believe this to be one of the most beautiful places on the west coast of the United States. Nice beaches, great food, and comfortable hotels right on the beach. Uncrowded beaches are the main attraction in this little part of classic Southern California. Swimming and surfing and beautiful sunsets will provide you with great photos.
